With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John L. Curry (Savannah, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Herbert James Curry, Sr.; and his brother Herbert James Curry, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Frances Moore Curry; his wife Lisa Reid Curry; his children, Ashley Berry (James) of Savannah, John Curry, Jr. (Sarah) of Savannah and Emily Jenkins (Bryan) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Charlotte, William, John III, Sophia, Leighton and Josie; his in-laws, Johnnie and Larry Reid of Savannah; his sister Cathy Knight (David) of Springfield; and his siblings-in-law, David Reid (Vickie) of Keller and Angela Myers (Erik) of Rincon, GA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Church (22 Rose Ave, Savannah, GA 31406). A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers the family requests remembrances be made to the new facility fund at Good Shepherd Savannah, P.O. Box 15624, Savannah, Ga, 31416., or the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute.
