He is survived by : his wife Ann Marie Shea Collins; his sons, Kevin (Nina) and Shawn; his grandchildren, Katie Shea and Patrick; and his brother-in-law Jack Daniels. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (7020 Concord Rd, Savannah, GA 31410). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
