It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph L. Conners Sr. of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perce Conners and Carrie Conners; and his sister Helen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha Conners; his children, Pam Finocchiaro (Mike), Carole Conners and Joseph Conners (Rebecca); his grandchildren, David Finocchiaro (Lauren), Monica Yeckley (Ty), Abby Conners and Grace Conners; his nephew Gary Smith; and his niece Karen Watts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist (222 E Harris St, Savannah, GA 31401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
