With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Pheus Sinopoli of Savannah, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Mercier and Anthony Sinopoli; his grandparents, Lily Drake Hall and Pheus Hall; and his brother Glen Mercier.
He is survived by: his wife Athena "Jane" Sinopoli; his daughters, Angie Mock (Alan) and Joann Fountain (Edward); his grandchildren, Summer Bowen (Travis), Michael Mock (Jenna Beth), Kirsten Blocker (Adam), Kylee Rogers (Christopher) and Kameron Allen (Matt); his great grandchildren, Maddison, Brooks Bowen, Miller, Ellis Mock, Evie, Elsie Blocker, Wren, Potter Rogers, Charlie, Shepherd and McClain Allen; and his brothers, Lonnie and Van Mercier.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Temple (4625 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA 31404). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
