She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Denmark and Katie Iler Denmark; her brother Roland Denmark, Sr.; her son Stephen Andrew Cobb; and her former husband James Edwin Cobb, Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Alton Milton Elliott; her children, James Edwin Cobb, Jr. (Jimmy), Carol Lynn Cobb and Diane Rousakis Biggs (Michael); her grandsons, John Paul Rousakis (Erin) and Steven James Rousakis; and her sibling's children, Talley Denmark Smith (Bill), Roland "Sonny" Denmark, Jr., Tere Cobb Patrick (Kenneth) and Mike Cobb.
