He is survived by: his wife Kim Thompson of Savannah, GA; his son Tyler Deland; and his granddaughters, Mikirah Sanders and Elana Deland.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home (2794 US-80, Garden City, GA 31408). A burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - West.
