Larry Dowling Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Dowling Sr. (Savannah, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Von "Jiggs" Dowling and Mavis Hutchison Dowling; his brother Alton Dowling; and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Daley Dowling and Kaye Dowling.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Daley Dowling; his sons, Larry Daniel Dowling Jr. and Brandon Dowling (Kara); his grandchildren, Brandon Jr. and Lanie; his daughter Stephanie Pinard (Gary); his granddaughter Jessica Donaldson (Adam); his great grandchildren, Cohen, Avery and Anna; his siblings, Allen Dowling, June Benefield (Sidney), Acie Dowling (Sybil), Jimmy Dowling (Denise) and Cathy Aker-Dowling (Duncan); and his sister-in-law Saundra Dowling. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pierce Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
