He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Henry Hodges and Viola Martin Hodges; his wife Ann Beasley of Savannah; his children, Fred L. Hodges Jr. and Marianne L. Fischer (Ed); his daughter-in-law Becky Hodges; his grandchildren, Ashley Elder (Angela), Eddie Fischer (Ashley) and Elizabeth Fischer; and his great grandchildren, Turner and Chloe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Temple (4625 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA 31404). A burial was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
