He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Wilson Sr. and Rose Isabelle Wilson; his wife Betty Roberts Wilson; his stepmother Harriette Wilson; his siblings, Louise Saniford, Margaret Bishop, Geraldine Scott, Robert "Bobby" Wilson, Betty Hernandez and Eleanor Smith; and his sons-in-law, Lester "Ray" Bryant and Joe Wrenn.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald "Ronnie" Wilson (Kathy) of Savannah, Georgia, Sherry Wrenn of Savannah and Cynthia "Cindy" Bryant of Louisville, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Jones (Shaun), Kristina Wrenn, Kyle Bryant (Charlie) and Kimberly "Kim" Barnes (Brad).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
