She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Russell Lanier Sr.; her parents, Troy E. Waters and Nora Lee Waters; her granddaughter Jessica Ransome; her daughter-in-law Jill Lanier; and her brothers, Talmedge Waters and Harold Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Lopez, Michelle Leopold (Damon), Archie Lanier (Patricia Rahn) and Rusty Lanier; her grandchildren, Lindsey Bancroft (Shannon), Brett Lanier (Jennifer), Blake Lanier (Karina), Hannah Lanier and Tyler Leopold; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Nathan, Collin, Grayson, Benjamin, Whittney, Lyla, Wilder, J. J. and Skyler; and her siblings, Alceone Williams (Charles) and Jimmy Waters.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
