He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Emmett Brewer and Gertrude Marie Louis Brewer; and his siblings, Jack Brewer and Patricia Pagan. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sanders Brewer; his daughter Deana Vazquez (Orlando); his grandsons, Christopher Vazquez, Bradley Vazquez, Daniel Vazquez, Caleb Vazquez, David Vazquez, Josiah Vazquez and Isaac Vazquez; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph and Rachel.

Remembrances may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
