She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Wesley Smith and Ethel Knowlden Smith; her husband Frank H. Posey, Jr.; her son Benjamin Posey; her son-in-law Daniel Bentley; and her granddaughter Dana Bentley.
She is survived by: her children, Richard G Starks, Jr. (Lanina), Peggy Bentley, William Posey and Victoria Posey; her great grandchildren, Richard O Starks Hayden (Tara) and Jed; and her grandchildren, Timothy Starks Easton (Eileen), Hudson, Dawn King, Daniel Bentley Jr., Elizabeth Cudebec Robbie (Kyle), Emily, Kolton, Katherine Womble Wyatt (Josh), Theo, Timothy Laugaland and Hannah Laugaland.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (2 St Thomas Ave, Savannah, GA 31406).
