He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Crowell and Gilbert Crowell; his wife Patty; and his siblings, Patricia Brown, Gilbert and John Crowell.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel, Anthony Ferrari of Washington, Richard Jr., Victoria Crowell of Georgia and Rebecca Crowell of Washington; and his siblings, Carol Nash, Roberta Cremer, Willis Crowell, Henry Crowell, Susan Purser, Bridget Figueroa, Kenneth Crowell and Patrick Crowell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
