He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Knight and Thelma Knight; and his former wife Judy Elizabeth Cantrell of Atlanta, Georgia.. He is survived by: his brother Ron Knight; his children, Richard Knight Jr. and Kelly Knight; and his grandchildren, Hadley Knight, Noah and Jacob Knight.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
