Richard Meyer III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Meyer III (Savannah, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Richard Charles Henry Meyer, Jr.; his wife Karon Nunnally Cullen of Richmond; his daughter Augusta Carter Meyer Wilcox; his son-in-law McClelland Wallace Wilcox; his son Charles Heyward Meyer; his daughter-in-law Miranda Daphne Siegel; and his grandsons, Benjamin Palmer Wilcox and Heyward Wallace Wilcox.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Church or The Georgia Historical Society.
