He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sarah Lee Lain; his grandparents, William Earnest and Nellie Jane Lain; his uncles, Ralph Slater (Lorraine) and Eddie Lain; his parents-in-law, Jack and Marjorie Barber; his brother Bill Jones (Linda); his former wife Kathleen Graham; his wife Patricia "Dale" Jones; his daughter Selena Yocco (Michael); his stepdaughter Kimberly Anderson (Chris); his grandchildren, Travis Yocco, Emeline and Gray Anderson; and his siblings, Patricia Jackson (Danny), Brenda Olson, Gordon Douglas (Sarah) and Jack Barber (Dawn). He was also cherished by the many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (6613 Johnny Mercer Blvd, Savannah, GA 31410). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
