She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Sisson Glendye and Richard L. Glendye Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Algernon S Varn III; her children, Ashby Koontz of Savannah and April Varn Walker (Brian); and her grandchildren, Mike Garcia, Molly Garcia, Maya Garcia, Stella, Jackson Walker and Raylan Foust.
