She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Nixon and Lee Austin; her daughter Erica Roberts; and her siblings, Darrell Austin, Tony Austin, Jim Jones, Sr., Richard Austin, Curtis Nixon (Andrea) and Virginia Annette Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Thaxter Smith; her sister Georgetta Biffle; and her children, Shomico Plummer, Lakisha Austin, RaShanda Jones, Ebony Austin, Julius Austin and Edward Arkeem Roberts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and godchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
