He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rauers Newkirk; his daughter Alexandra Walsh Gibney (William Siegrist); his grandchildren, Kellin Waters, Louis Gibney Siegrist, George Gibney Siegrist and Jack Gibney Siegrist; and his stepchildren, Thompson Newkirk and Nina Newkirk-Pulliam.
