He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Fortson; his sons, John Fortson (Jennifer), Jeff Fortson (Kelly) and Jason Fortson; his grandchildren, Brai Philbeck, Cooper Forston, Landry Fortson and Porter Fortson; his great grandchild Josephine Philbeck; and his sisters, Carolyn Barger and Dottie Wakefield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
