It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William F. Schmitz of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schmitz and Elizabeth Schmitz (Betty); and his sister Sandra. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Freeh; his daughters, Lori Ryan (Gary) and Lisa Saxon (Patrick); his grandchildren, Ashlee Roble (Chase), Lauren Ward (Hunter), Michael Ryan, Ali Tirey (Jonathan), Mattie Saxon (Christopher "Critter"), Lindsay Harris (Joey) and Pat Saxon; and his brothers, Carl Schmitz Jr. (Sue) and John Schmitz (Rose). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
