He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nichols and Katherine Rose Nichols; and his son William Pate Jacobs III. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jacobs; his daughters, Billie Walker (Peter) and Sammye Jacobs; his siblings, Donald Lee Nichols, Katherine Kirila (Mike) and Renee Walder; and his grandchildren, Malachi Anthony Jacobs and Alexandria Pili Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
