He is survived by: his children, Eric Ryals (Kim) of Atlanta, Georgia and Monique Francis (Matt) of Ovid, Michigan; his grandchildren, Spencer (Paige), Dalton, Chase, Bel, Brittany, Christian, Ashley (Ray), Breann (Jacob), Michael (Alexis) and James; his great grandchildren, Remington, Vivian, Mason, August and Lettie; his sister-in-law Pamela Betz Ryals; and his sibling's children, Krista Carufel Tompkins, Jon Ryals (Jodie), Robert Ryals (Pam) and Jason Ryals.

“Mr. Bill was my kind neighbor. He was very thoughtful and I am sad to hear of his passing. My dog loved seeing Mr. Bill and enjoyed the attention he received from him. My mom fell ill last year and Mr. Bill insisted on buying her good bottled water, as he did not want her "drinking that tap water". I respect Mr. Bill as a Vietnam War Veteran and know he loved this country. I am hoping Mr. Bill's family and friends have peace during the time of unexpected loss. Sincerely, Cherilyn”
