He is survived by: his wife Emma Lou Todd Thompson of Screven; his children, Madrae Morris (Chris) of Hinesville and Forrest Thompson of Jesup; his brother Jimmy Thompson (Judy) of Jesup; his daughter-in-law April Sawyer of Jesup; his stepmother Ruby Thompson of Jesup; his sister-in-law Mary Todd; his caregiver Ann Crews; his sibling's children, Meaghan Todd, Lindsey Vogele, Art Todd, Dana Kozma, Andi, Payton, Levi, Jeremy Thompson, Jared Thompson and Randy Smith; and his grandchildren, Marshall Grantham (Jessica), Tyler Thurston, Wesley Thurston, Ashley Thurston, Nathan Thompson and Sarah Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
