He is survived by: his children, Tuff Tyre and Peedy Caroline Tyre of Odum; the parent of his children Somer Chambless (Rick) of Odum; his parents, Steve Tyre and Sandra Tyre of Screven; his siblings, Tracy Tyre (Anna) of Screven and Dusty Todd (Tracy) of Vidalia; his siblings' children, Ben Tyre (Oscara) of Screven, Courtney Jones (Gavin), Macy and Sarah Grace Todd; Jed Chambless.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 1240 New Hope Road, Jesup, GA 31545.
