He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Sauls Wallace; his parents, Marion Sullivan Wallace and Dr. David Francis Wallace; his brothers, David Francis Wallace, Jr. and Richard Joseph Wallace; and his son John Anthony Wallace, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Laura Wallace Houghton and Michael Traynham Wallace (Maggie); and his grandchildren, Katherine Emily Wallace of Atlanta, Claire Rutledge Wallace of Atlanta, Henry Ferguson Houghton of Atlanta, James Pyman Houghton of Atlanta, Michael Traynham Wallace, Jr. of Atlanta and John Lawrence Wallace of Atlanta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of John A. Wallace to two organizations he felt strongly about.
