We announce the death of Bobby Orr of Senoia, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Bobby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alton Orr and Katherine Ragsdale Orr; his brother Jimmy Ragsdale Orr; and his son James Philip Joiner. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Whigham Orr; his children, Robert Orr (Vicki) and Ginger Wright (Kemp); his grandchildren, Alexis Ziegler (Jon), Alexandria Coody (Tyler), Robert Orr (Sky), Nathan Wright, Amy Orr, Amelia Orr (Brystol) and Katherine Wright; and his great grandchildren, Anastasia Hardnick, Daylen Thrash, Aurora Hardnick and Hadley Mae Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Senoia United Methodist Church (229 Bridge St, Senoia, GA 30276).
