He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas Adkins Bass and Myrtle Louise Hurt Bass; his siblings, Larry Bass, Tommy Bass and Cheryl Roberts; and his grandson Ethan Bass.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gregg "Pam" Bass; his children, Dana Bass Burch (Richard) of Peachtree City, Jennifer Bass Osborne (Kerry) of Forsyth and Nathan Daniel Bass (Megan) of Ridgeville, SC; his grandchildren, Peyton, Gavin, Adrianna, Mallie, Owen, Nolan, Cooper and Laci; and his sister Bertie Guinn (Bill) of Lilburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
