With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Sorrells of Shady Dale, Georgia, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest Lewis Sorrells; her parents, Marlon H. Terrell and Ora Terrell; her siblings, Alfred Taylor and Blondine Taylor; and her daughter Shelvie Dalton.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Chadwick of Shady Dale; her son-in-law Robert Dalton; her children, Rev. Danny Sorrells (Edy) of Newborn and Alice Bishop; and her grandchildren, Anita Carter, Roxanne Harp, Ken Harp (Amy), Tina Smith (Kevin), Wendy Arnold (Josh), Debbie Wyatt (Ryan), DeWayne Sorrells (Laurie) and David Sorrells (Heather). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren, and an abundance of extended family and friends.
