He was predeceased by: his parents, August Basch and Adeline Basch (Kujawa); his wife Michaelann "Mickey" Basch; and his brothers, Charles Basch and Robert Deja.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Austin (Joe) and Denise Kilcline (Peter); his grandchildren, Joel Austin (Savannah), Lauren Austin-Dixon (Jelani), Brynna Kilcline and Tessa Kilcline; Mickey. He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
