Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Bishop leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Willis Wiggins and Ollie Mavis Wiggins; his daughter Almeda Wiggins Hilyer; and his brother Ron Wiggins. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Burk Wiggins; and his children, Diletta Mavis Wiggins (Chris Giddens), James Ricky Wiggins (Connie Wiggins), Renee Lujan (Eric Lujan) and Tonya Hood. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carroll Memory Gardens (914 Stripling Chapel Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116).
