John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Marston Jr. and Lucille Myrtle Stacks Marston; and his sisters, Diane Merritt and Nancy Duke. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Marston; his children, Kayla Potts (Murphy Potts), Jennah MacPherson (Steven MacPherson) and Robert Marston; and his grandchildren, Millie Fay MacPherson and Fiona Mae Potts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Randy's memory.
