Joyce will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Settles and Verlie Durrance Settles; her husband Aubrey Scarborough; and her son Michael Linwood Scarborough. She is survived by: her son Tony Scarborough (Teresa) of Leesburg; her granddaughters, Hannah and Haley Scarborough of Albany; and her stepgrandchildren, Olivia Bevel and Dawson Bevel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shellman Eastview Cemetery.
