He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Edward Bagwell and Eddie Mae Bagwell; his wife Betty Jo Bagwell; his daughter Wendy Bagwell; his brother David Bagwell; his grandson Russell Carter; his great grandchildren, Baby Tucker and Alton Roland II; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Shores, Peggy McElwee and Henrietta Gaylor.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Jackson (Jerry), Eric Bagwell (Donna) and Tammie Hoover; his sisters, Judy Bolinger (Bobby) and Linda Shores; his siblings-in-law, Pat Bagwell, Pat Rowell and Eddie McElwee; his pet Princess; and his sons, Joshua Roland, Justin Tucker, Donald Cromer, Ray Ashton, Logan Pope and Josh Brown. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
