She was predeceased by: her parents, Dottie Dee McIntosh Maxwell and Robert Carey Maxwell; her siblings, C. Verner Maxwell, Warren T. Maxwell, Gwendolyn M. Estfan, Robert D. Maxwell and Ted D. Maxwell; and her daughter-in-law Mary Clemones.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia M. Burns; her children, Cynthia Canedy Lawing (Daniel B. Lawing), Anthony C. Clemones, William Carey Clemones and Melody Camille Brobst (David); her grandchildren, Hollie Lawing Pritchard (Bill Pritchard), Daniel Hunter Lawing (Morgan Lawing), Alexandria and Parker Brobst; her great grandchildren, Imogen Pritchard, Tyson Lawing and Harper Evelyn Lawing; her niece Melanie Raines (Ronnie Raines); and her nephew Maxwell Burns.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kingston Cemetery. A reception was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. M. Patterson & Son–canton Hill Chapel (1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068).
