He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Medford (Norman), Caron Gossett (Keith), Lori Potts (Mark), Dedra Maloney (Christian) and Bart Ellis; his sister Mildred Samples of Smyrna; his grandchildren, Tiffany Medford, Brandon Medford, Alex, Lindsey Gossett, Ethan, Rachel Gossett, Jenna, William Broadwater, Miranda, Ryan Glancy, Alyssa Potts, Barrett Maloney, Parker Maloney, Chloe Ellis, Ava Ellis, Addison Ellis and Palmer Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Liam, Hudson, Ellie Gossett, Miles, Amelia Glancy, Landon Gossett and Arya Broadwater. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
