He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Estelle and Fonzie Lee May; and his siblings, Fonzie "Jack" (Stella), Clyde Broughton (Elvis) and Bettie (V. A.).
He is survived by: his wife Margit; and his daughters, Yvonne and Bettina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
