With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Marie Floyd of Smyrna, Georgia, born in Cedartown, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Janet Marie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doug Floyd and Ann Floyd; and her brother Steve. She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Floyd-McNally (Patrick) and Tommy Floyd (Michelle); and her friend Mary Rogers. She is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peachtree Presbyterian Church (3434 Roswell Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MD Anderson/endometrial cancer.
