She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Libby and Nellie Barrett Libby; her children, Bruce Ellis and Brenda Lowe; her sister Geneva Kime; and her son-in-law Christopher Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Waters of Smyrna and Craig; her children-in-law, Denise Ellis of Tallapoosa and Ricky Lowe of Denver, NC; and her grandchildren, Christina Ellis, Brittney, Jaeson Smith, James, Beverly Lowe, Brittany Lowe, Alyssa and Kyle Baker. She is also survived by her youngest great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Garden Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the First Baptist Church Tallapoosa, 11 W Lyon St., Tallapoosa, GA 30176, Youth Ministry or Light of Hope Presbyterian Church, 1507 Hurt Rd. SW, Marietta, GA 30008, Care and Compassion Ministry.
