Though Kevin Hamilton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kevin Hamilton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Hal Butts, Jr.; and his stepmother Diane (Willis). He is survived by: his wife Dee Ford; his son Noah Butts; his sister Ashley Remik (Jim) of La Plata, MD; and his stepbrothers, Sam Ivey (Jami) of Jasper, GA and Nathanael Ivey (Amanda) of Jasper, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
