We are sad to announce that, on March 12, 2026, at the age of 86, Rebecca Nash Paden of Smyrna, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Weir Nash and Gladys Rebecca Wright Nash; her husband William Reynolds Paden, Jr.; and her brothers, James Wright Nash and John Richard Nash.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Donald King (Barbara) and Anna Rebecca King (Marietta); her grandchildren, Russell Nash King, Branch McGavock King, Zachariah Robert Norris and Rebecca Wright Norris; her stepgrandchildren, Madeleine Malone, Emilie Malone and Rosser Malone; her stepdaughters, Anne Maassen (Kirk) and Susan Ikerd (Hunter); and her stepgrandchildren, Karl Maassen (Amy), Kenneth Maassen (Rachel), James Ikerd, III and Grace Ikerd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
