With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Kay Orrell of Smyrna, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roberta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roberta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert Orrell, Jr. and Winfred Orrell (Agnes). She is survived by: her sister Judy Welch (Larry) of Smyrna, GA; her nieces, Kerri Bounds (Charlie) of Smyrna and Lara Lemley (Jason) of Rockmart, GA; her nephew Winfred C. Orrell, Jr. (Linda) of Meeteetse, WY.; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson, Mary Charles, Marshall and Lucy Grace.
