It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Virgil Powell Jr. of Smyrna, Georgia, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas V. Powell, Sr. and Blanche Cole Powell; and his brother David Powell. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Powell; his son Trey Powell (Leslie); his siblings, Donald Powell, Diane R'Love and Delores Almand; and his grandchildren, Anna Grace Powell and Mason Powell (Danielle Garner).
