She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Wilbert, Nell Thackston, John and Fannie Mae Vess; her mother Marlene McGuiness; and her sister Shannon Vess.
She is survived by: her father John William Vess Jr.; her stepmother Janie Sayne; her husband Doug Henderson; her children, Timothy Vess, Christopher Henderson (Erica), Nicholas Henderson and Meagan Duitsman (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Courtney Vess, Eloise Henderson, Madison Duitsman and Thomas Henderson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
