He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitch Mitchell and Jean Mitchell (Cain). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Mitchell (Hall); his children, Shawn Mitchell and Shay Nilsen (Erik); and his grandchildren, Caitlin Mitchell, Patrick Mitchell and Tyler Nilsen.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
