He was predeceased by : his parents, David Monks and Carol Monks; and his grandparents, Guy, Ruth D'Angelo, Bill and Marie Monks.

He is survived by : his wife Stacie; his children, Emma and Hayden; his brothers, Dan Monks (Amanda) and Brian Monks (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Katie Peacocke (Trey) and Sean Tauber; his nieces and nephews, Alex, Ben Monks, Asher, Charlotte Peacocke, Sophia and Olivia Tauber; and his parents-in-law, Mike and Cathy Volk.
