He was predeceased by: his wife Lynda McHale Kane; his parents, John Kane and Anna Kane; and his siblings, Phil Kane, Ann Marie O'Connell, Colleen Felong and John "Jack" Kane.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Disotell (Tim), Tim Kane (Joni) and Daniel Kane (Chihaya); his stepchildren, Jennifer Anderson (John), JJ McHale (Kelley) and Courtney Ness (Shane); and his great grandchild Jenny Lynn. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause dear to Eugene's heart.
