She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William, Jr. and Mildred Louise Mettam (Stanton); and her husband Lawrence Neisler, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Canova of Watkinsville, Georgia and Lawrence Neisler, Jr. (Diana Kaneva) of Plovdiv, Bulgaria; her grandchildren, Joe Canova (April), Rob Canova and Kate Canova (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Avery Canova, Grady Canova, Dylan Verdi and Tenley Verdi; and her siblings, Terry Mettam of The Dalles, Dan Mettam of Pekin and Ione Mettam of Ironton, Missouri..

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rural Home Missionary Association (RHMA) or Samaritan's Purse.
