He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gray and Lovilla Gray. He is survived by: his wife Joan Burkhard Gray; his daughters, Lynne Gray Greenway (Dennis Greenway), Lori Gray Beaver (Winston Beaver) and Robbin Gray Boone (Jeff Boone); and his grandchild Ric Gray.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with the viewing from 11am to 1pm with the service to follow, then to the gravesite, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home located at 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, 30039, to celebrate Richard's life and honor his contributions to our world.
