He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Louise Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Susan East Barrett of Snellville; his children, Callie Garrett (Chase) of Lithonia, Savannah Herring (Josh) of Alpharetta, Lily Solomon (Orion) of Canton and Hope Barrett of Pensacola, FL; his father Bobby Guess; his stepmother Lucinda Guess of Valdosta; and his stepbrothers, Clay Guess of Valdosta and Sam Guess (Amanda) of Valdosta.
